About Marissa Molina
"Listen, Learn, Grow, to best Love, Help, & Lead."
Marissa Molina is a children’s author, creative director, and founder of Imagination Reality Studios, based on Maui, Hawai‘i. She creates original books, characters, and story worlds exploring friendship, courage, hope, and belonging.
Originally from Wisconsin, Marissa moved to Maui in 2012. A request to perform at a child’s birthday party in 2014 introduced her to the joy of bringing characters to life. She founded Imagination Reality in 2017 and began developing her own original characters and story worlds in 2018.
Her books include Eggwish, Poi ’n Kai, The Dream I Planted, and Pumpkin Pact. Through stories and experiences beyond the page, she invites children to imagine possibilities and connect with who they hope to become.
Marissa also creates Imagination Starz and Red Light Sleep. These projects reflect her wider interest in imaginative learning and gentle family experiences.
“Imagination is how we process our reality and who we hope to become.”™
